Contents
The course deals with the theory of interaction between light and matter and methods for construction of models of stellar atmospheres. The formation of stellar continuous and line spectra is discussed and it is shown how the comparison between computed and observed spectra can be used to determine basic parameters of stars and their chemical composition.
