PhCh 210 Physical Chemistry



Contents

This course aims to equip the student with the background necessary for an understanding of the kinetics and equilibrium thermodynamics of chemical systems and with the ability to work with these. The course covers inter alia the laws of thermodynamics, chemical systems in equilibrium, electrochemical cells, and basic reaction kinetics. In addition, the course contains an introduction to group theory and molecular symmetry.
