Summer exams: Have you got a grip on WISEflow?

Lots of students are taking exams in the WISEflow system for the first time right now. WISEflow is the new digital exam platform for the entire university. And if you need help getting to grips with the system, read on!

If you have exams this semester, you may have already taken your first exam in WISEflow – or will be using the system for the first time soon. Starting with this exam period, from now on all exams at AU will be administered through the new WISEflow system, which has replaced the Digital Exams system formerly used at Arts, Health, Nat and Tech.

When your exams are ready in WISEflow, a notification will be sent directly to your AU email. The notification will contain a link to your exam. Before you take any exams in WISEflow, it’s really important that you make sure you understand how to use the system. Fortunately, there’s plenty of help available:

  • You’ll find the answers to a lot of your questions in the how-to guides and FAQ at studerende.au.dk/wiseflow.
  • You can also contact your local IT support team if you can’t find the answers you need on the website or if you have technical problems.

Do you have any written on-site exams?

If you’ll be taking on-site written exams, be aware that you need to install some additional applications on your computer first; the Lockdown Browser (except students at Arts) and Device Monitor (at Aarhus BSS, this only applies to selected students). You will be informed about this well in advance of the exams. The description of the exam will explain which of these applications you need to have on your computer for the exam you’re taking.

If you need to use Lockdown Browser and/or Device Monitor for any of your exams, we recommend that you install and try out both applications well in advance. Find out how on the support webpage under technical guides
