Aims
To discuss the nature of formal theoretical models in population biology.
Content
Theories of evolutionary dynamics based on phenotypic descriptions will be exposed and discussed. Emphasis will be on theories based on fitness maximization or game theory and the population genetic foundations of these methods.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of population biology.
Teaching curriculum
3 hrs. of lectures and student seminars per week for 10 weeks.

Additional remarks
This course is primarily organized for Ph.D. students and these will be given first priority in cases of limited capacity. Teaching will be in English except in cases where the instructors and all participants are Danish speaking.
