The goal of the course is to convey a broad understanding of the contributions of mathematics to our view of the world through its function both as a means of description and as a tool.
The course is primarily directed towards a function as mathematics teacher in the Danish gymnasium.
The number of participants is limited to 25.
Prerequisites: An essentially completed 1. part in mathematics.
Literature: Notes, articles and professional literature.
Evaluation: Passed/not passed. Each student has to write a paper and present it in a seminar lecture.
