Content
This is a survey course that will provide a general introduction to the chemistry of organic polymers. Topics to be discussed fall under the general categories of synthesis, structure, reactivity, characterization, physical properties, and applications.
Teaching material
Reading material will be supplied by the teacher.
Teaching curriculum
Two hours per week of lecture and two hours per week of exercises/discussion. In the early part of the semester, the teacher will deliver lectures. In the latter part of the semester, each student will deliver a seminar(s) on a topic of his/her choice. Each student will also submit a short paper on this same topic.
Requirements
Four years of study including the minor subject of chemistry.
Evaluation
Pass/fail based on the paper and seminar(s).

5 ECTS credits (= 1 point).
