Illness - examination

STADS is up and running

STADS is once again up and running, and you can register for spring classes and exams. The registration deadline is Thursday 7 November at 23.59.

If you fall ill before an examination – and are therefore unable to attend the examination – you are advised to contact your medical doctor on that same day to obtain a doctor’s certificate. In this way, you are sure to have documentation of the illness in case you need to apply for an exemption.

The university expects you to turn up for the examinations for which you are registered. If you fall ill before an oral examination, you must notify the university if you are unable to attend the examination. You can find more guidelines on your study portal. If you fall ill during an on-site examination – and therefore have to withdraw from the examination – you must notify the exam supervisor or the assessors that you are leaving because you are ill. In this way, you are sure to have documentation of the illness in case you need to apply for an exemption. You are also advised to immediately contact your medical doctor to obtain a doctor’s certificate documenting that you fell ill during the on-site examination.
