Documents to be signed for Erasmus Students
Erasmus students must have their Learning Agreement signed in order to receive their Erasmus scholarship. Please note that Aarhus University can both sign OLA as well as a pdf-file Learning Agreements. Your home university has to issue the documents, e.g. Learning Agreement. Please check with your home university if you are unsure of which documents you need to have signed.
Erasmus Learning Agreement (Erasmus only): Can be signed at Aarhus BSS Student Services. Email to: [email protected] or hand it in at Aarhus BSS Student Services. Please note that we cannot sign Learning Agreement before your course registrations have been confirmed.

Document with Arrival / Departure Dates
The documents can be signed at the AU International Centre or at Aarhus BSS International. Only relevant if your home university requests such a document. It must be signed on the day of arrival/departure.

Can be signed at the AU International Centre or at Aarhus BSS International. You must obtain the document from your home university if you need it.

Timetables
You can use the system MyTimetable to access your personal schedule, transfer schedules to your calendar and much more. Read more about MyTimetable.
Please remember to check your timetables regularly, as changes in the schedules can occur.
Check the timetable for overlaps. Your personal timetable should have no more than 4 overlaps per course during the semester.
Lectures and Tutorials
Please note that "Holdundervisning" (H) means Tutorial and "Forelæsning" (F) means Lecture. Some courses have both tutorials and lectures, and you will then need to attend both. Lectures and tutorials will appear separately in your personal timetable.
Course changes
If you need to make any course changes, you will receive information in early June on how to do so. Please note that any changes must be made via the provided link and cannot be requested by email. Please also note that the deadline for course changes is 13 September 2026 (two weeks into the semester). After this date it will no longer be possible to make course changes.
Exams and transcript
Here you can find your exam schedules.
The last possible day of ordinary exams is 31 January 2027. All students are automatically signed up for exams. It is not possible to change the date or the form of an exam.
Participation in the majority of exams at Aarhus University is dependent on students bringing their own laptop or PC.
All students must familiarize themselves with the digital WISEflow system prior to attending exams.
Results will be available on Self Service within four weeks after the exam.
Re-exams are only possible if you fail an exam and are never mandatory. Sign up for re-exams deadline: 5 February 2027. Re-exams take place in February and in order to sign up you will have to send a message to the Study Administration ([email protected]) stating your Aarhus University student number (nine digits, starting with a ‘year’, e.g. 2026xxxxx), your full name, and the course name and course code of the course in question.
Transcripts can be downloaded from Mystudies after your exams. Please note that transcripts from MyStudies will only show courses that you have passed. Your transcript is only sent to your home university upon request.

Find your way at the University with AU FIND
You can use AU FIND to search for contact information about all staff and units at Aarhus University. You can base your search on a person, a building or a unit. All the addresses of both people and units are shown on a map and they are integrated with the Google Maps Directory. You can add a person directly to your contacts.
Wifi
Eduroam is AU’s wireless network for students. To use Eduroam, you need to install it on your devices: Smartphones, tablets and laptops.
Student ID Card
Your Student ID card is your identification as an Aarhus University student. Your student ID card functions as your library card or your print/copy card if you deposit money on it. Most importantly, your student ID card is necessary to enter and take part in your exams, so do not lose or damage it. If you have not already ordered it online, you must order it as soon as possible in order to receive your student ID card upon arrival at check-in at the International Centre.
Access Buildings
As a student at Aarhus University, you have access to all buildings on campus during normal opening hours. Outside opening hours, you can enter specific buildings by using your student identity card as a key card provided that the ID card has been activated as such. Your Student ID card has to be activated and you need a personal pin code in order to use the card as key card to enter AU buildings.
Print
In order to use the library's print facilities, you must be a registered user at Det Kgl. Bibliotek/The Royal Danish Library.
Use of our print facilities requires you to add funds to your printing account before you can begin to print/copy.
Payment is made online. You must use a debit card such as VISA, MasterCard, etc or MobilePay.

Student Associations
A student association gives you and your fellow students the opportunity to connect over shared interests and enrich your university experience. Find more information about student associations in the left-hand menu under “Student life and facilities”.

Emergency
Medical assistance - 112
If you need urgent medical assistance with acute, life threatening illness or injury, you call 112. Lines are open 24/7. Calls are free of charge and can be made even from foreign mobile phones. Calling from a Danish network and number, you do not need the +45 prefix to call 112.
Police assistance - 114
Service 114 If you need non-urgent police assistance, call police service at 114. Lines are open 24/7. Specially trained dispatchers will assist you with any inquiry or advise you if further action is necessary.
