Students at the Department of Computer Science, Aarhus University, can apply for financial support for expenses related to travel activities with an academic purpose.

You can apply for funding for:

• Transportation and accommodation related to travel activities in connection with thesis/project work
• Participation in conferences/workshops/summer schools etc.

Funds can be sought to cover:

• Travel expenses, accommodation, and lodging
• Conference fees, visa costs, etc.
• The grant does not cover food & drinks

The student travel grant can support up to an amount of DKK 1,500 per participant. But in certain cases you can apply for an extended grant if you are presenting academic work done in relation to your course acitivites at Aarhus University (e.g. accepted paper, poster).

• You can expect a response to your application within 7 days
• Approved grants are paid to your NemKonto upon submission of documentation for defrayed expenses
