Environmental studies is an interdisciplinary course in which theory and methods of individual scientific fields give insight into different aspects of basic environmental problems.

By combining some of the core knowledge from The Faculty of Science, The faculty of Health Science, The Faculty of Social Science and The Faculty of Arts, the course will give the students the possibility to achieve a holistic understanding of complex environmental problems.

The aim of the course is to make the students use their specialized knowledge in interdisciplinary co-operation, that will enable them to analyse, understand and evaluate solutions to heterogeneous environmental problems.
