Specialiseringsansvarlig
Cybersikkerhed er i de senere år blevet et uundgåeligt krav til alle computersystemer i et moderne og digitaliseret samfund. På specialiseringen i cybersecurity lærer du at beskytte digitale systemer og data mod cyberkriminalitet ved at arbejde med sikkerheden i det samlede system. Det omfatter alt lige fra udviklingen af software til sikker ledelse og drift af de færdige systemer.
Du kommer til at arbejde med specifikation af sikkerhedskrav, definition af sikkerhedsarkitekturer og validering af systemernes sikkerhedsegenskaber gennem analytiske eller empiriske metoder – for eksempel pentests (ethical hacking), der simulerer cyberangreb på digitale systemer.
Som civilingeniør med speciale i Cybersecurity får du en vigtig rolle i at bekæmpe cyberspionage og cyberkriminalitet. Det kan være som leder, arkitekt eller udvikler af sikkerhedskritiske it-systemer, netværksikkerheds-specialist, penetrationstester eller som undersøger af sikkerhedshændelser (forensics investigator).

Specialiserings valgkurser
The specialisation defines four core specialisation courses (20 ECTS in total) and several specialisation elective courses from which you must select 20 ECTS.
Specialisation Study Contract Recommendations
In addition to the core specialisation courses, students who are interested in secure software development are recommended to include the following electives in their study contract: Logic for Security, System Security and Data Protection & Privacy.
Students who are more interested in management of secure enterprise systems and networks, are recommended to include the following electives in their study contract: Security Risk Management, Governance, Risk & Compliance and Security Incident Response (spring 2027).
Finally, students who aspire to roles in security consultancies or authorities focusing on penetration testing and computer forensics, are recommended to include the following electives in their study contract: Ethical Hacking and Digital Forensics & Investigations.
