Ck.67 Synthetic Methodology in Total Synthesis: Case Studies

Ck. 67 Synthetic Methodology in Total Synthesis: Case Studies.

Syntetisk Metodologi i Total Syntese

Contents
In this course we will analyze the total synthesis of a diverse number of structurally different natural compounds. Discussions will include the types of synthetic approaches employed, including key chemical reactions and reagents used in the synthesis. Important organic transformations such as pericyclic, ionic and radical reactions will be covered, where emphasis will be made on the mechanisms, selectivity and stereochemistry. Participants in this course will be assigned to analyze a minimum of one total synthesis during the class lectures.
