Modelling of Sequences of Images

Modelling of sequences of images

3-4 hours of lectures per week.

Lecturer:
Eva B. Vedel Jensen

Contents
In this course, an introduction to dynamic image modelling will be given. A collection of models of discrete or continuous type will be presented. Many of these models possess a Markov property. Examples are models describing growing objects in the plane and in space, and models for sequences of images, acquired using one of the modern scanning techniques such as magnetic resonance imaging. The models may be used for understanding the dynamic system, monitoring the processes and image segmentation.
