Aim

The course will provide the students with a basic knowledge of human histology and related methods.

 

Contents

The course introduces methods of histology and systematically covers the majority of human organs. Through practical exercise the student is trained in basic microscopy. Laboratory exercises focus on standard methods of tissue/cell visualization. Histopathology is introduced using selected examples

Introduction to Physiology (previously included in Biologi intro)

Type of evaluation and aids

2 hours of  "short essay", evaluated on basis of passing/not passing
