Introduction day 2025

Aarhus BSS at Aarhus University bids welcome to all new students. To make your start at Aarhus University a bit easier, we have compiled all the practical information you need right here. 

Intro meetings

We will host an introductory meeting for new MBA students in connection with the Executive Insights conference on 28 January 2025.

As a new student, you will also receive an invitation to the event by email. 

Checklist for new students

It is a good idea to do the following before you start: 

  1. Activate your account. You will need your MitID.  
  2. Set up your AU email. It is important that you set up your AU email so you can receive messages from Aarhus University. 
  3. Make sure you can sign in to mitstudie.au.dk - this is where you will find your personal page and access to your courses, study information and self-service options. 
  4. Make sure you have access to our intranet Brightspace. Teachers use Brightspace to upload assignments and to send you articles and messages. 
  5. Your student ID card serves as a keycard and gives you access to buildings outside normal hours. Click here to order your student ID card. Remember to order it before the semester starts.  
  6. Make sure you have access to the Eduroam wireless network. Follow the guidelines on the page. 
  7. Please note that your computer must meet certain requirements for you to participate in digital exams
  8. Check your timetable to see when you have class
  9. Create a user account at AU Library

Activate your free membership to the career and alumni network. Don’t miss out on career events at Aarhus BSS/Aarhus University. Activate your membership to receive event invitations and job offers (student jobs, internships, full-time jobs) throughout your studies. Literature

You will receive the relevant teaching materials soon after you have paid the invoice or before your first class at the latest. 

We will try to send you the books you need for the programme before the intro day. If not, you will receive them during your first week of classes.

AU Library

Fuglesangs Allé 

At the AU Library on Fuglesangs Allé you will primarily find materials within law, economics, business administration, management and communication. However, you can use all AU Library locations
