The main entrances to the buildings follow the normal AU opening hours.
The doors open at 7.30 in the morning and close at 16.00 in the afternoon. To access the buildings outside of the opening hours, you must use your student access card.

Parking and bicycle storage
Cars
There are free parking spaces available around building 5125 and 5789.
It is also possible to park in Føtex' car park at Åbogade, or along Katrinebjergvej and Finlandsgade.
Bicycle storage
Bikes are parked at bicycle parking in the yard behind building 5125 and 5789.

IT Helpdesk

AU Library provides access to printers across campus.

Access to wireless internet
Canteen and kitchenettes
Canteens / purchase of food
There is a canteen near the campus, and is located in Incuba, building 5520, Åbogade 15.
In addition, Storcenter Nord is further down the road, where it is possible to buy food.
Kitchenettes / Student kitchens
There are 4 kitchenettes that the students may use. There is a sink, fridge, microwave and electric kettle.
They are located here:
- building 5125, by room 217 and 317
- building 5124, by room 122
- building 5789, in the corridor with the open study places
It is not allowed to have private mail sent to an AU address.
In relation to project work, it may be necessary to have mail/packages sent to Katrinebjerg from companies.
Therefore, you must agree with your supervisor, that the supervisor is responsible for ordering it.

Student lockers
You can find student lockers for free use in building 5125 (in the basement and at 4. floor) and in building 5789 (at the open study places).
Guidelines
- ECE students only
- “First-come, first-served” principle
- Only use one locker at a time
- Use your own padlock
Lending period
A locker can be used for one semester at a time:

February 1st – July 15th
Please note
All lockers must be emptied in August.
If the lockers are not empty in August, they will be opened and all content will be thrown out!
Safety and fire
Safety
It is important that everyone is aware of his or her own and others' safety. Always make sure to read the safety and user instructions before using any of the equipment.
Fire
The building is equipped with an acoustic warning system that will inform the users of the building of what to do in case of fire. The building is also equipped with a sprinkler system that will start fighting the fire automatically.
In the event of fire or accidents
- Stop/contain the accident if you can do so without putting yourself at risk.
- Call 112
- Evacuate the area/building if necessary
