Submission of internship report

The internship report

You must complete your project-based internship by submitting an internship report/final assignment. The scope of the report is described below.

10 ECTS:

  • A brief report of maximum two pages, e.g. a logbook, which describes the aspects of working in the internship host organisation that are relevant in an academic context.
  • An academic report of maximum 20 pages, containing an English summary of maximum 1,400 characters (including spaces).

20 ECTS:

  • A brief report of maximum two pages, e.g. a logbook, which describes the aspects of working in the internship host organisation that are relevant in an academic context.
  • An academic report of maximum 30 pages, containing an English summary of maximum 1,400 characters (including spaces).

The internship report must clarify whether the requirements for the project-based internship have been met – you will find these requirements in the course description for the project-based internship. The specific details of the report are agreed with the internal supervisor.

If you do project-based internship in the autumn semester 2022

The new process for project-based internship on the Master’s degree programme in Economics does not apply to project placements in the autumn semester 2022.

For this reason, you are not required to submit an internship agreement, but you may choose to make such an agreement for your own sake.

The submission deadlines are:

First examination attempt: 15 December. Exam: January
Second examination attempt: 15 February. Exam: February
Third examination attempt: 15 December (the following year). Exam: January

If you fail your project or do not submit it
You will have spent an examination attempt. Each time you spend an examination attempt, the project must be revised. The supervisor must approve the revised synopsis and project.

Please note: It is your own responsibility to register for the second and third examination attempt. You may register at mystudies.au.dk. If you encounter problems while registering, you can send an email to kandidat.bss@.au.dk. Please remember to state your name and student registration number as well as the title and number of your topic.

If you do a project-based internship in the spring semester 2023 and onwards
