Withdrawal, re-admission and re-enrolment

STADS is up and running

STADS is once again up and running, and you can register for spring classes and exams. The registration deadline is Thursday 7 November at 23.59.

Would you like to be withdrawn from your programme?

If you wish to resign from your programme without completing it, it is important that you first of all read the following instructions.

Contact our student counsellors
Before you resign from your programme, we suggest you have a chat with your student counsellor about the consequences of resigning, if you are considering re-enrolling at a later point.

Re-admission - applying for the same degree programme

Re-admission is for those who have previously been enrolled in the degree programme they wish to apply for but have not passed the entire first academic year.

When you re-apply for a programme, the five-month rule applies. This rule means that you must have been withdrawn from the programme for at least five months before the new programme starts.

Re-enrolment

Re-enrolment is for those who have passed the first academic year of the degree programme they are applying for.

The pre-requisites for being re-enrolled are:

  • That you have passed what corresponds to the entire first academic year of the programme in which you wish to be re-enrolled
  • That you meet the current admission requirements for the programme
  • That you have been withdrawn from the programme at least five months before the programme you are applying for starts.
  • That there are empty places in the programme in which you wish to be re-enrolled
  • That you have improved your possibilities of completing the programme (if you were withdrawn from the programme by the university)

Are you unsure whether you have passed the first academic year?
