The Student Guidance Service at the Faculty of Arts is provided by about 45 students and nine full-time, salaried student counsellors.
Your local student counsellor can give you answers to practical questions about general and subject-specific rules which are important for your studies, as well as offering you specific guidance in relation to the subjects involved in your degree programme. You are also welcome to ask questions of a more personal kind (doubts about your course or how it suits you, for instance).
Your local student counsellors can also help with referring to other counseling services at Aarhus University, if needed.
If you need to discuss heavier or more extensive issues, or for other other reasons prefer to talk to a full-time, salaried student counsellor, you can find more information here.
All the student counsellors have general insight into the degree programmes at the Faculty of Arts, and keep up to date with the general laws and rules which may be important for you.
