If you are considering going on exchange during your studies in Nanoscience, there are several opportunities available to you. Regardless of what you choose, the courses you take must be approved by your degree programme coordinator.
If you have questions regarding the academic aspects of your exchange, you can speak with your student counsellor or your degree programme coordinator. For questions about the application process and related matters, please contact your international coordinator.
You have the opportunity to go on exchange during the first year of the Master’s degree programme – that is, in the 1st (7th) or 2nd (8th) semester.
Students who go on exchange for one or two semesters are not subject to the formal requirement regarding academic specialisation.
Once you have found some interesting courses you want to take at the foreign university, you should check the following:
As a graduate student, you may be allowed to take a bachelor course if it is an advanced course within the bachelor's part at the foreign university, or if a similar course is not offered by AU.
We also check the above, but you do yourself (and us) a favor by checking it yourself. Otherwise, you will receive a rejection when you apply for your pre-approval.
You can see the full list of destinations you can go to in AU's MoveOn database.
