This course is intended to provide the student with a knowledge of spectroscopic, electrochemical and chromatographic methods for identification and quantitative determination of elements and inorganic compounds in solution and solid state. Elements of complexation chemistry and elementary statistical methods are also included. Examples showing the use of analytical methods for studies of trace metals and inorganic compounds in nature are given.
