This course contains molecular descriptions of chemical reactions in gas phase, in solution and on surfaces and a description of the experimental techniques presently used for studies of molecular and reaction dynamics. The techniques used are primarily based on lasers and a considerable part of the course will give an introduction to various laser types focussing on femtosecond lasers.
