The course aims to give participants a basic knowledge of a number of experimental methods within high resolution nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), mass spectroscopy (MS), infrared and ultraviolet spectroscopy (IR and UV), and electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR). Emphasis is laid upon the practical application of these as analytical tools in various chemical disciplines, especially organic chemistry.
