The Master's Degree Programme

The Master's Degree Programme

Students wishing to pursue a Master's degree in a specified main subject can apply for admission to the programme as soon as they have obtained 20 credit points in Part One. The Master's degree programme entails the completion of Part One and Part Two (see above) plus a fifth year of advanced study in the chosen subject which includes an individually planned experimental or theoretical project culminating in a thesis. The aim of the thesis is to demonstrate the student's ability to organize and carry out scientific research. The final year of a Master's degree programme gives a total of 12 credit points, at least 6 of which must be given for the thesis.
