The series consists of two workshops:
- Workshop 1: Introduction to Generative AI, Friday June 6th, 13.00-16.00
This introductory workshop provides students in the humanities and arts with a foundational understanding of generative AI models (specifically large language models, or LLMs) and their applications for bachelor's and master's thesis research and writing. Participants will learn how to use AI chat interfaces to enhance their work while maintaining academic integrity. - Workshop 2: Advanced Applications of Generative AI, Monday June 9th, 13.00-16.00
Building on the introductory workshop, this session delves into more sophisticated uses of generative AI for advanced thesis work. It's designed for students who have a basic grasp of LLM interactions and want to leverage these tools strategically throughout their research and writing process.
The series is open to all ARTS students and is free to participate in.
