Bliv klogere på Generative AI som redskab i projektskrivning ved Lektor Stephan Smuts

Dette efterår har ARTS-studerende mulighed for at lære hvordan de kan bruge generativ AI i deres specialeskrivning, når vi udbyder workshopforløbet “Generative AI” i samarbejde med Videnskabelig assistent Stephan Smuts.

Forløbet er åbent for alle studerende på ARTS og er gratis at deltage i.

Forløbet består af to workshops, som afholdes i Emdrup:

Workshop 1: Introduction to Generative AI for Thesis Writing (afholdes torsdag d. 21. november, kl. 10.00-13.00 i lokale D168d)
Learn to
 -  Understand the basic principles and mechanisms of LLMs.
 -  Gain familiarity with the range of potential AI-powered tools.
 -  Explore ethical considerations in using generative AI for academic work.
 -  Prompt and interact with generative AI models.
 -  Develop strategies for effectively integrating AI-generated output into thesis work.
 -  Critically evaluate the appropriateness of using generative AI in different thesiscontexts.
 -  Recognize and refine AI-generated text to maintain your own academic voice.

Workshop 2: Advanced Applications of Generative AI for Thesis Projects (afholdes torsdag d. 22. november, kl. 10.00-13.00 i lokale D168d)
Learn to
 -  Understand the strengths and limitations of LLM tools for nuanced disciplines in thearts and humanities.
 -  Develop a critical awareness of how AI models are trained and the potential biases towatch for.
 -  Experiment with fine-tuning prompts for specialized tasks.
 -  Learn methods to curate large volumes of AI-generated output.
 -  Develop techniques to use AI tools as a critical thinking partner.
 -  Become adept at identifying tasks where AI adds value vs. where traditional research is essential.
 -  Foster confidence in using generative AI ethically and transparently within your thesis work.
