Abstract Harmonic Analysis II

Lecturer Henrik Stetkær Content The course is a continuation of the course Abstract Harmonic Analysis from the Spring term 2002. We will discuss Fourier analysis on groups that are not necessarily abelian. This means in reality that we shall treat the theory of unitary representations of locally compact groups on Hilbert spaces. These Hilbert spaces will in general be in nite dimensional. We shall concentrate on the case of compact groups and the more general situation of square integrable representations.
