Aim

The overall subject of the course is the central dogma: replication, transcription and translation. The aim of the course is to elucidate (i) the organization of chromosomes and genes in prokaryotic and eukaryotic organisms, and (ii) describe the molecular mechanisms for DNA replication and regulation of gene expression at the level of RNA transcription, RNA processing, and translation in both prokaryotes and eukaryotes.
