Your knowledge about safety in laboratories is crucial. This accounts for both chemical and biological laboratories. Our safety course for first years students provides you with the basal knowledge of safety. The course is about your own and your colleagues safety and it is important that you work actively with the course and gain the knowledge. The course is obligatory and all practical exercise modules must be followed and you must pass our quiz before you can have unsupported access to our labs. You may refresh your knowledge about laboratory safety by watching the videos from Copenhagen University and answer their quiz questions. Be aware that we use the chemical database KIROS and not Kemibrug, which they use. There are small twists from our guidelines so follow up by reading our own safety compendium.
