Virtual introduction

You can prepare yourself by going through Aarhus University's online introductory course Study@AU which gives you answers to several practical questions.

You will be introduced to digital platforms, counselling and support units, and life as a student. This online introduction consists of modules, which you can go through separately. The entire introduction takes about 2 hours. You can access the course in Brightspace from mid-January – under “My courses".

Programme for the Introduction Week

Your introduction week begins Monday 2 February at 9.00, Birk Centerpark 15, 7400 Herning (room 8002-2131).

The programme will be updated in January. There may be changes up untill the beginning of the introduction week.

For students admitted as working prefessionals there may be special introduction activities. Recommended activities and/or mandatory activities for working professionals are specified in the introduction programme.

Are you admitted as a working professional?

All students from the working professionals programme are welcome to join the full introduction Monday - Friday as shown here on the study starts pages. However working professionals are expedted to join their introduction Tuesday 3 February 09:00-16:00 and Wednesday 4 February 09:15-11:00. See the programme here.

Classes and book list

Classes
Classes usually start in the first week of September and the first week of February. However, it is important that you always check your timetables to get the precise dates of classes. You can your schedule at mystudies.au.dk.
