Field course in Plant Ecology

Field course in Plant Ecology

The course aims at training the participants in developing and carrying out studies on how higher plants are adapted to the environment in which they grow. The studies will typically comprise: (i)analysis of the most important environmental growth conditions, (ii) studies of the morphology and anatomy of the plants, and (iii) examination of physiological responses to selected environmental factors. Modern field and ecophysiological methodologies will be introduced and applied during the course. A written report on the outcome of the investigations will be prepared, presented and evaluated.
