ECTS
The Bachelor's project is worth 15 ECTS credits and is part of the third year of a Bachelor's degree programme. The exact scope of the project can be found in the academic regulations of each programme.
Your Bachelor’s project must demonstrate your ability to formulate, analyse and process the issues of the field within an academically delimited topic. Your Bachelor's project must include a summary in English. The summary is part of the overall assessment of your ability to express yourself in writing in connection with the project.
Your Bachelor's project will be assessed according to the 7-point grading scale with a co-examiner appointed by the Ministry of Higher Education and Science.
Contact your student counsellor or your head of degree programme to learn more about the Bachelor's project. Find your student counsellor and head of degree programme under Student Counselling and Contact in the menu.
Register for the Bachelor's project at mitstudie.au.dk (as with other course registrations).
The Bachelor's project is completed during the 6th semester. Therefore, you must register for the Bachelor's project in connection with your course registration for the semester during which you intend to complete your Bachelor's project.

We recommend that you start the process by finding a Bachelor's project during the first half of the semester before the project is supposed to complete the project. We recommend that you you start the proces earlier if you wish to do collaborate with a comay for your project.
It may be advantageous to seek inspiration in previous courses that you have found interesting, or use your study group and fellow students to consider potential subjects.
If you need help finding a supervisor for your project, you are welcome to contact your head of degree programme or the programme planner.
You must submit your Bachelor's project via WISEflow (for additional information click 'Exams' > 'WISEflow').

You are responsible for submitting your Bachelor's project on time. We recommend that you upload and submit your Bachelor's project well in advance of the deadline for submission. Bachelor's projects submitted after the deadline will not be assessed.For students not following the prescribed study plan, a Bachelor’s project must be completed within the time frame stated above (i.e. 130 days for the Bachelor's project and three weeks for the exam).
You can already log on to WISEflow. Your exam will be available no later than one week before the deadline for submission.
As a rule, you must submit your Bachelor's project as a single PDF file. However, you have the option of enclosing appendices in other formats, if necessary.
Please note that the version of your Bachelor's project that you submit via WISEflow is legally valid and will therefore be the version included in the overall assessment of your Bachelor's project.
With regard to any appeals, the version submitted via WISEflow will apply.
The student and the supervisor will decide whether physical copies should be made available for the co-examiner, co-supervisors, etc.

BA students are responsible for preparing a cover page for their Bachelor’s project.
The cover page must include the name and student registration number of the student, name of the supervisor and date of submission. The Bachelor's project must also include a title in English, even if it already has a Danish title.
You can find the general framework for the Bachelor’s project in the course catalogue and in your academic regulations. You can find your academic regulations under 'Teaching' > 'Academic regulations'.
It is important that both the student and the supervisor are aware that the project has a scope corresponding to 450 working hours.
The Bachelor’s project can be completed individually or in groups in agreement with the principal supervisor.

The project report can be written in Danish or English in agreement with the supervisor, but it must include a summary in both Danish and English. The summary is included in the overall assessment of the student's ability to express themselves in writing.
The report can either be structured as a technical report or as a scientific article. Both the scope and length of the report are agreed upon in collaboration with the supervisor.
If the report is a group project, the number of pages will increase accordingly.
You are responsible for creating a cover page for the Bachelor's project.
The coverpage must include the name and student registration number of the student, name of the supervisor and date of submission.
Your Bachelor's project must include an English title, even id it already has a Danish title and is written in Danish.
The title you state (DK and GB) when you submit in WISEflow is the title that will appear on your diploma.

If you do not submit your Bachelor's project on time or if you do not pass, you have used one exam attempt and you need to register yourself for the reexamination.
Registration for reexamination takes place during the registration period via mitstudie.au.dk.

During the period from the ordinary exam result until your reexam, Your supervisor is not required to offer further guidance in the period between your first ordinary examination result and your reexamination.
