The Master’s thesis is concluded with a take-home paper focused on a more specific issue.
In practice, you may write your Master’s thesis on any topic which is approved by a supervisor.
Every semester an information meeting is held for future Master's thesis students, at which you, among other things: can hear about the thesis writing process, including the formal requirements and how to select supervisor.
You will receive an invitation to the information meeting via Brightspace.

The registration takes place at this point in time, as this gives you the possibility to carry through three exam attempts in your Master’s thesis within your maximum duration of studies.
If your maximum duration of studies is extended or shortened, due to credit transfer, leave or an exemption, your (automatic) registration will depend on your maximum duration of studies.
It is possible to write the Master's thesis on the third semester of the Master's programme, if you at the end of your second semester are expected to have passed 60 ECTS corresponding to the first academic year.
Even though you will automatically be registered for the Master's thesis, please notice that you need to apply for a supervisor.
