Aim
The course will give an introduction to the area of genomic instability and its relation to the aging process.
Content
The relation between genomic instability and the aging process will be discussed. During the course some of the mechanisms affecting genomic instability will be elucidated. Thus, telomeric, length, DNA damaging agents, and DNA repair mechanisms, will be described.
