The course will be held at the marine biology laboratotory on the isle of Helgoland. It is a joint course together with the department of Developmental Biology of the University of Bielefeld, which has held this course for many years. The course includes observations as well as cell biology and molecular biology experiments on the development of marine organisms (from jelly fish to chordates). During the course students will have to give paper presentation in English.
Due to some organizational problems, final decision on this course will not be made before the end of 2000.
