Good datapractice for master students
Are you collecting qualitative data/empirical evidence for your assignment? Some of it may be sensitive personal information? And does it seem overwhelming to structure, organize, and store this data correctly?
In this introduction to good data practices (data management), you will:
Learn to work systematically and consciously with your data
Gain insight into the applicable rules regarding GDPR, including consent declarations, anonymization, and pseudonymization
Become familiar with what copyright is and what it covers, so you can comply with the relevant regulations both during and after the creation of your assignment
Learn more about where and how you can store data securely
With this knowledge in hand, the process of managing, processing, and communicating data will become easier.
The course is conducted for students enrolled in the master's programs in Archaeology, Anthropology, Human Security and Sustainable Heritage Management at AU.
Location: Moesgaard, Room 4206-139.
