Contents Waves, tides and other sea level variations and their prediction. Sea water, its composition, properties and physical behaviour and characteristics. Circulation in oceans, basins, and
estu-aries. Marine fronts and mixing. Divergence and convergence. Upwelling and downwelling, Physical oceanography, coral reefs, and mangrove forests. Regional oceanography.
Remote sensing. Field experiments and excursions.
