Various aspects of the hadronic sector of the standard model will be discussed.
1. Experimental evidence via deep inelastic electron scattering for the existence of point charge particles within nucleons.
2. Extra information from deep inelastic neutrino scattering.
3. QCD corrections.
4. A quark shell model for baryons and mesons.
5. Hadronic mass mixing in the standard model.
6. Chiral perturbation theory as an effective low energy theory of QCD
