Digital exam submissions

As of summer 2016, The Faculty of Arts is introducing digital exam submissions for all written exam papers. This means that you must submit your written take-home assignments digitally, also the ones with a subsequent oral examination. You can read more about Digital Exam at AU, find guides and log in here.

On-site exams: We expect that about half of the on-site exams will be digital exams as of summer 2016. You can find information about the examination forms for your degree programme in the exam dates

Master's theses: From 1 July 2016, students at the School of Communication and Culture (CC) and the School of Culture and Society (CAS) - except students at the Master's degree programmes in Philosophy and the Master's degree programme in the History of Ideas - will have to hand in their Master's Thesis digitally.

DPU Students at the Danish School of Education (Thesis: Digital Exams from January 1, 2017)

All theses handed in after January 1, 2017 is to be submitted on our digital examination platform as described here

How do I hand in an exam digitally?

You will be notified by email once your exam has been made available in the Digital Exams system. Be sure to keep an eye on your exam schedule, where you will find information about exams in your subject.

Please note that:

  • you must observe the deadline for submission (14:00). Assignments that are received after this deadline will be rejected
  • · you must remember to press ’Submit’ (’Aflever’ in Danish) in the system when you have finished and are ready to submit your assignment. If you submit before the deadline, you are allowed to edit your assignment until the submission deadline. The system will only keep the version of your assignment that you submitted last. Any assignments submitted after the deadline will be rejected
  • · you must prepare for these exams in advance so you know exactly what you need to do. This can be done in the Digital Exams system
  • · you must - if you have any problems with the digital exam system that prevent you from submitting by the deadline - make sure that you have evidence of the problem in question (a screen dump showing the date and time, for instance). It is also important that you submit as soon as possible after the problem has been solved.
